About me

Hi, my name is Mai. I am a mother of two wonderful kids, eight tortoises, and a bearded dragon, and animals have been an important part of my life for as long as I can remember.

I am originally from Bilbao, Spain, and later moved with my family to Malaysia, where we lived for five years. It was there that my passion for exotic animals and reptiles truly began. Living in a different environment and being surrounded by species with very specific care requirements taught me the importance of proper husbandry, attention to detail, and truly understanding animal behavior.

Over the years, I have cared for dogs, cats, reptiles, and other exotic pets, gaining extensive hands-on experience with feeding routines, habitat maintenance, lighting and temperature needs, and stress-free handling. This daily, hands-on experience allows me to provide calm, knowledgeable, and reliable care, especially for pets that require more than basic attention.

While my specialty is reptiles and exotic pets, I also provide attentive care for dogs, cats, and other household pets when needed.

Now based in Florida, I offer in-home pet sitting focused on safe, responsible, and personalized care. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pets, and my goal is always to provide complete peace of mind while you are away.
